Work as now started on the new  £6 Million flagship library to be built on Halesowen Street ,on the old bus depot site. its going to be called Jack Judge House in honour of the world famous Oldbury-born songwriter who penned music hall favourite It’s a Long Way to Tipperary, which became a World War One and Two anthem. The three storey  offices and library are expected to be ready by November 2010
