Sandwell Council are to install on a temporary basis electronic signs in Titford Road which flash when vehicles are travelling above the speed limit, which have been effective in other areas in reducing traffic speeds.
This is a direct result of pressure from your Councillors. You may be interested to know that a  traffic survey carried out in November 2008 revealed that the prevailing vehicle speed in Titford Road is around 32.2 mph and that 85% of  vehicles travelled at above or slightly below this speed.
